Classroom Update: April 30-May 4th

Classroom Highlights:

-Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our research project gallery! The kids loved sharing all of their hard work with you. Check out Twitter for highlights of all projects.

-In social studies we are learning about the first colonies of North America. This week we compared colonies and responded to each other's posters through a gallery response activity.

-ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously) was this week! All of King had the chance to walk or jump together on the playground.

-Our poetry unit is underway! We've been reading poetry and finding poetry that connects to our classroom environment.

-May 7th: NWEA ELA

-May 8th: No school

-May 9th: NWEA Math, bike or walk to school day

-May 11th: Bagel Friday

-May 14th: 5th Grade Instrumental Concert @ 7:30pm

-May 19th-25th: SPACE CAMP!
